At Shadow Light Press it is our mission to report on topical affairs, with both truth and sincerity. We hope to report on a wide range of matters such as politics, society, wealth, the environment, philosophy, science, theology, family, individuality, and freedom (to name a few). This blog attempts to uproot one's potential biases stemming from empathy, faith, culture, family, money, ego and morality. Ultimately this blog will offer reports that contend with preexisting partisan media agendas.
To make things more clear, our organization is inspired by an ancient chinese philosophy of yin and yang, or in english, 'shadow and light.' The philosophy of yin and yang explicitly reveals the interconnectedness of opposites that are often detached, and then furthermore defended. These opposites provoke prejudice, racism, sexism, isolation and misunderstanding. These opposites, such as, night or day, republican or democrat, male or female, black or white, and young or old, have historically divided people. At Shadow Light Press our goal is to affirm both sides of every story. This method attempts to dignify, and acknowledge the entirety of the public, (no matter how misunderstood) and ultimately, to regard significance to both sides of every story.
